What is Hot Composting?
There are two types of composting: hot (can be done in 25 days) and cold (6-9 months). Hot composting derives its name from the high temperatures achieved from decomposing material that has the:
- Proper ingredients
- Right size (cubic yard is optimum)
- Maximum air exposure
- Sufficient moisture
- Regular turning
